About me

Connie Kennedy

I’m a Pennsylvania native, and my love for travel began at 18 with my very first trip, sparking a lifelong passion for exploration. Together with my husband and two children, we’ve created a family travel bucket list, checking off destinations one by one each year.

I specialize in crafting family travel experiences that blend adventure, education, and affordability. As a homeschooling mom with a deep enthusiasm for history, I’ve developed an appreciation for meaningful and enriching journeys.

From visiting Disney World more than 20 times to creating custom itineraries for historical exploration, I draw on personal experience to design trips that suit each family’s unique needs and dreams.

Travel and Family

In my downtime, I enjoy researching far-off destinations after the kids are tucked in. Travel planning is my passion, and I find joy in building memories through itineraries that families will cherish forever. Traveling with my children from an early age has helped shape them into wonderful travel companions. Together, we collect rocks and postcards from every destination, and I keep a journal of our adventures to remember the highlights, new foods, and even the occasional missteps.

Germany holds a special place in my heart, as I believe history is best understood where it unfolded. My ultimate goal? To see and experience the world in its entirety!

If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to speak every language, fostering connections and deepening my understanding of humanity’s shared stories. Travel, after all, teaches us how much we have in common and helps us appreciate the beauty of our shared experiences.

Get up and GO!

As a young family, we chose to invest our funds in making memories with our kids by traveling. From a very young age, our kids have set out to Europe with us, walked for miles in Alaska when we got lost, and road tripped across America. Our family motto was “Adventure is a Family Value” and we have lived that out each time we set out to explore.

Five years ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and one of the first things that my husband said to me after the dust settled was “Thank God that we have these memories together.” How poignant it was because we never know how many days we have on this Earth – we never know when our circumstances can change.

I now have a clean bill of health and a deepened desire to travel more. We now say “Get up and GO!” is our family motto because we choose to seize the opportunity and go now while we have the means, the mobility, and the desire to travel.
